About AFW

ADL Fashion Week (AFW) is Adelaide's premier fashion festival celebrating the fabric of fashion in the city. The festival showcases boutique favourites and local emerging designers, together with couture labels and global brand favourites.

In 2022, the inaugural AFW presented a carefully curated program of events featuring South Australian emerging, ready-to-wear and couture designers, and an exciting three-day shopping event across Rundle Mall and Rundle Street. 

AFW returns in 2023 with a new and exciting program of events which is even bigger than before. Shoppers and fashion connoisseurs are invited to experience, shop and discover the best of local South Australian and global fashion brands through runway shows, ticketed events, free experiences and an unparalleled shopping experience in Adelaide's premier shopping districts Rundle Mall and Rundle Street.

AFW is an initiative presented by the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA), supported by the City of Adelaide. 

Working closely with businesses, industry groups, state government agencies and other relevant organisations, AEDA delivers a range of programs designed to stimulate the city’s economic growth with a focus on business growth, investment attraction, growing the visitor economy, residential growth, marketing the city as a whole and promoting Rundle Mall as Adelaide’s premier shopping destination.
