ADL Fashion Week Returns in 2026 Bringing Fashion Closer
Bold. Innovative. Local.
ADL Fashion Week is set to return from 7–11 October 2026, bringing Adelaide’s fashion community back into the spotlight for another dynamic five-day program.
Presented by the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA), a subsidiary of the City of Adelaide, ADL Fashion Week connects designers, retailers, venues and hospitality partners while inviting audiences to engage more deeply with the people, ideas and craftsmanship behind their favourite designs.
More than a series of runway shows, ADL Fashion Week has evolved into a platform showcasing the full spectrum of fashion, from concept and craftsmanship through to conversation, collaboration and immersive experience, reinforcing Adelaide’s reputation as a city where creativity thrives.
“ADL Fashion Week is a celebration of Adelaide’s creative heartbeat,” AEDA Executive Manager Marketing and Tourism, Michael Rossi says.
“It’s a platform for the designers and brands crafting quality product here, paired with the food and hospitality scene Adelaide does so well.”
This connection between fashion and the wider cultural landscape remains central to the event’s continued growth and relevance.
The 2026 ADL Fashion Week program will offer new ways for audiences to engage with fashion beyond the runway and experience Adelaide’s creative industries up close.
“When fashion is shown up close, it becomes something to understand and value, not just something to watch,” Mr Rossi says.

ADL Fashion Week reflects the Adelaide Economic Development Agency’s commitment to growing the city’s creative and visitor economy, with a renewed focus on broadening access to fashion and deepening engagement across audiences and industry.
Supported by the South Australian Fashion Industry Association (SAFIA), ADL Fashion Week continues to champion local talent while positioning Adelaide as a destination where fashion is not only created, but meaningfully experienced.
“Runways remain one of fashion’s most powerful cultural platforms,” SAFIA Board Chair Dr Nathan James Crane says.
“South Australia is home to an extraordinary depth of creative talent, and ADL Fashion Week offers an important opportunity to bring that work into view, celebrating the strength, sophistication and distinct perspective of our local fashion community,” Mr Crane says.
Designers, brands and creative partners interested in participating are encouraged to attend upcoming information sessions on Wednesday 10 June, which will provide insight into the 2026 program themes, expectations and participation opportunities.
As anticipation builds, one thing remains clear: ADL Fashion Week 2026 is not just a return, but a continuation of a growing movement, one that brings fashion closer, celebrates local voices and reinforces Adelaide’s place as a city where creativity thrives.
Registration for the industry info sessions close 5pm, Friday 5 June.
