South Australian Style Magazine Shines A Spotlight on ADL Fashion Week
ADL Fashion Week (AFW) together with official media partner SA Style Magazine, have worked together to develop a spring/summer look that has been brought to life in the latest issue of South Australian Style magazine and has been integrated throughout the AFW 2023 campaign.
For this year’s AFW campaign, South Australian style played an integral part in the development of the fashion forward colour palette, consisting of a vibrant true red signalling intensity, power and energy, that pairs perfectly with a muted tone of lilac, defining serenity and optimism. South Australian Style collaborated closely with creative agency Simple Integrated Marketing to bring fashion photography to the forefront of the AFW 2023 campaign, through cutting-edge digital applications that will be prominent in the campaign’s branding and promotional assets.
Flipping through the spring editorial fashion, readers can make the front cover and editorial spread pieces a part of their wardrobe, with obtainable styles from emerging and established Australian designers to international icon brands, such as Oroton, UNIQLO, House of Campbell, Camilla & Marc, Bec & Bridge, and The Wolf Gang.
Ned Raggatt, HWR Media Group Sales Director, says the magazine is embracing what has become a major focal point in Adelaide’s lifestyle calendar.
“We wanted to encompass varied elements of the festival in our AFW editorial because there are many layers to this event,” says Ned. “We’re very proud to be the official media partner this year, and we’re really happy with bringing the campaign to life through our photoshoot.”
Andrew White, Rundle Mall Executive Manager, says it’s important that shoppers are reminded of what the city has to offer leading into AFW, and the South Australian Style feature will help heighten this momentum.
“It’s great to have ADL Fashion Week in the city as it highlights Rundle Mall as the home of fashion in South Australia, with the biggest range and best brands,” says Andrew.
“It’s time for Rundle Mall shoppers to experience and celebrate their love of fashion and feedback from businesses in the Mall and across the city shows they are excited to get involved.”
During last year’s festival, there was a 6 per cent increase in visitation to Rundle Mall, while it doubled on Rundle Street in comparison to the same period in 2021, and more than 50 designers were showcased throughout the weekend.
Visitors will soon see the emotive shades of intense red and optimistic lilac accentuated in a swathe of promotion for AFW, featuring across Rundle Mall, Rundle Street, and the wider city.
They will also have the chance to attend the South Australian Style Wrap Party at 2KW Bar & Restaurant on Sunday 22 October.
